These two camps run concurrently, with the days split between the 2 groups.
We want our young dogs and puppies to always train with the enthusiasm and drive we want in their future careers, so this structure is designed to give them enough down time, whilst enabling you to have a full-time learning opportunity.
Each camp has a total of at least 6.5 of hours of learning. 4 x 1hour sessions working with your dog and 2 hours of lectures to enhance your learning experience by giving you the theory behind our teaching. This and the Q&A opportunity at the end of camp will enable you move forward with your training at home with clarity and understanding once the camp has finished.
Puppy camp topics cover what we believe to be the vital skills for your future agility dog to reach its full potential including:
- Establishing and enhancing reward structure
- Creating drive, focus and control
- Criteria and body awareness games
- Flatwork Skills
Young Dog sessions will be covering the transition and development from flatwork to equipment including:
